Halloween Spectacular

Friday, October 23rd, was an electrifying day of spine-tingling excitement as Halloween descended upon our school!

The air was thick with thrills and chills as ghouls, goblins, and all manner of spooky creatures wandered around, transforming Annagh NS into a haunted haven. Even the teachers joined in the frightful fun, donning refreshing minty Tic Tac costumes, adding a twist of flavour to the eerie atmosphere. Mr Kelly’s class embarked on a trick-or-treating expedition around Snape’s and Brooks’ houses, where they struck gold with a treasure trove of goodies. The day was a whirlwind of hauntingly fun games, ghostly art projects, delicious chocolate apples, and spine-chilling movies that left us on the edge of our seats.

A massive shoutout to everyone who conjured up this magical Halloween experience for our students—it was a day to remember.

Branar Theatre Visit

Today was nothing short of exhilarating as we welcomed a dynamic new team of cleaners who brought a twist to the traditional notion of “cleaning”. The adventure kicked off in the 3rd and 4th classroom and then continued in the 5th and 6th classroom, transforming what could have been a mundane routine into an electrifying experience.

Amidst the starting bursts of laughter and joyful chaos, a spectacular drama unfolded—”Ballad of a Bandit”. The children were completely captivated, their delighted shrieks and roars of laughter echoing through the school, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of fun and excitement.

A massive thank you to Miguel and Debbie from Branar Theatre Company for their brilliant performance today. It certainly left a lasting impression on our pupils. Here are some fantastic photos captured by Ms Doyle that perfectly showcase the joy of the day.

Clare Footballers Visit

This week was nothing short of spectacular at our school! We rolled out the red carpet for some extraordinary guests—our very own past pupils and Clare County Football stars, Dermot Coughlan and Daniel Walsh! The atmosphere was electric as they walked through the doors, greeted by an eruption of cheers and applause from our excited pupils. Not only did they take the time to sign jerseys, but they also showcased their incredible skills, leaving everyone in awe! It was a memorable experience that sparked inspiration and joy in our school community!

Here is a snapshot of the wonderful day we had. An Clár Abú!!
