In the final term of the 2024/2025 school year, Annagh NS launched an incredible initiative: the formation of a Junior Leadership Team. This dynamic group of enthusiastic students is set to partner with the senior management team, bringing fresh ideas and vibrant energy to the table. Together, they’ll ensure that the pupil’s voice resonates throughout the school, empowering every student to play a crucial role in shaping their educational experience.
The team comprises 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes. Tommy, Croía, Oran, Ruby, Aidan, Seán, Kai and Jamie have been members of the JLT since our return to school in August and have successfully helped to implement our Bí Cineálta Policy. This policy is a mandatory policy to help with the prevention of bullying in all schools. The JLT surveyed all the pupils and designed and created the child-friendly version of the policy. The JLT will bring their valuable talents to each classroom this week by giving each class a fun-filled hour of activities, which will get everyone into the Halloween spirit.
